The entrance to our consulting room is at the back of 25-27 High Street, Chesterton (picture above).
Look for the CCS (Cambridge Counselling Service) logo on the sign next to the left-hand door (see the picture of this door to the left).
Our rooms are a 12 minutes walk from Midsummer Common, 20 minutes walk from the Grafton Centre and 15 minutes cycle from the train station.
Buses 16, 17 and C2 pass directly in front of our building.
Our consulting room is private, has natural light and comfortable furniture. There is also a waiting room (shared with some other offices). To maintain the privacy of all our clients, please arrive at reception no more than 5 minutes before your appointment. When you arrive please use the phone in reception to ring upstairs (to Cambridge Counselling Service) and leave a message saying that you have arrived - your counsellor will then come and collect you from reception at the appointed time. If you are running late, please also ring and leave a message.
There is a toilet available next to the consulting room, but not one available in reception.
Parking is available in the car park at the back of 25-27 Chesterton Road. If the visitor spaces are full, further parking is usually available on Chapel Street and near Pye Terrace.
If you arrive early, the nearest public toilets are on Church Street, at the entrance to the recreation ground. The nearest sandwich bar is next to 52 High Street (open until 1.30pm weekdays).
Payment is accepted by cash or cheque. We do not take payment cards.
